On Friday, the Plusinfo portal published CCTV footage, saying it showed Skopje Mayor Danela Arsovska was the one that had started the attack that day.
“She, with kicks, strikes a man that afterwards attacks back. In the background, the voice of a woman speaking in a high tone can be heard. The footage clearly shows police react immediately and detain the man”, Plusinfo said.
In response, however, Arsovska stated that the footage had come from the Interior Ministry, saying it intentionally didn’t include the slaps and hits against her from Sulejman Lamallari.
“Am I attacking him or is he attacking me? I am moving towards him or he is moving towards me. I am taking a step back and defending myself. You should be ashamed, VMRO[-DPMNE] lions, of defending this NLA commander”, she noted.
Infomax, on its part, published on Saturday morning a video taken from another angle, saying it showed the moment when Lamallari had attacked the Mayor, adding that the material had “sunk the lies of” Interior Minister Pance Toskovski.
