
The Prosecutor’s Office has frozen assets of Borce Markovski, owner of Markovski Company, in North Macedonia and Serbia.
Markovski is one of the suspects in the case concerning the 1.7-million-euro tender to relocate plant stations from Oslomej to the mines in the frames of the Bitola plant. In North Macedonia, around 500,000 euros have been frozen.
What’s also been requested is for him to be prohibited from having at his disposal three flats in Skopje, a construction unbuilt land parcel and garage acquired in 2024, as well as three freight and one passenger vehicles acquired in 2025. According to suspicions, they were acquired with money stemming from a punishable act. If convicted, the assets may be confiscated in the future.
Following requests from North Macedonia, Serbia’s prosecutors ordered that а company owned by Markovski and, in Serbia, 10 new freight and auxiliary vehicles, procured in 2025, be frozen as well.
