Charge Filed against Lamallari, Prime Suspect in Arsovska Attack Case

The prime suspect in the case concerning the 11 July attack on Skopje Mayor Danela Arsovska, Sulejman Lamallari, has been charged.

Also, the detention measure against him has been extended by 30 days. When it comes to the second suspect, who was reported for threats, he will face no legal action because Arsovska didn’t recognise him.

However, VLEN’s Izet Mexhiti, in an interview with Sitel, said the matter involved not the person known as “Commander Baruti”, but rather that person’s brother. According to the 1st Deputy PM, the person was fired from the Parkovi and Zelenilo (Parks and Greenery) PE because he didn’t share the views of Arsovska and her people.

“Three-four days after that, she went outside his house to provoke him”, he noted, adding that there were public videos showing actually that she’d been the one that had attacked the man.
