On Tuesday, there was a heated discussion and trading of accusations during an extraordinary session of the City of Skopje where there was supposed to be a discussion on the Cair buildings case.
The situation culminated when Mayor Danela Arsovska, from the rostrum, presented documents saying they proved the unlawful legalisation of structures in Mayor Visar Ganiu’s Municipality, to which VMRO-DPMNE and VLEN representatives reacted.
The former’s representatives stated that Arsovska had had four years to react to all illegal structures, stressing that the party wouldn’t accept the “populism and theatrics” in the last four months of her term.
The session had to be interrupted, which was why there was no discussions on the status of structures in Saraj either.
