The Code of Ethics in Parliament, previously passed by MPs, was promoted on Tuesday. Speaker Gashi stated that the Code represented a commitment to placing public interest above personal interest, and ensuring that political debates were conducted with arguments and mutual respect.
According to OSCE/ODIHR and NDI representatives, the Code will contribute to greater transparency, integrity, and citizens’ trust in Parliament’s work.
