At Thursday’s session, the Committee on Election and Appointment Issues, with seven votes in favor, established Emilija Aleksovska, an attorney from Kumanovo, and Djoko Dikov, an attorney from Strumica, as candidates for the Judicial Council membership.
Previously, during the interview process, SDSM MP Jovanka Trenchevska had referred to Aleksovska’s activity on social media, stating that on Twitter, there were comments from her profile on posts by PM Mickoski.
“You have a post in which you address the PM and say: ‘With you, Macedonia is alive again, ours again, and proud again,’ along with the symbol for ‘may she be whole.’ Could your profile perhaps have been hacked?”, Trenchevska asked.
Aleksovska said that she had a Twitter account, but that it hadn’t been used for years.
“I do not remember ever posting the comment you pointed out. I very rarely comment on social media and do not have time for that”, Aleksovska said.
