Council Finds Series of Irregularities in Five Cases Judge Ristov Worked on

The Judicial Council has found a series of irregularities in five of nine cases on which Skopje Appellate Court Judge Gjoko Ristov worked on.

The Council suspects Ristov contributed to the expiration of the statute of limitations in the Spec Kasa case concerning the Security and Counterintelligence Administration, in which former employees of the institution were given prison sentences for abuse of 800,000 euros.

In another case, he enabled a charged person that was supposed to be behind bars to spend more time under house arrest (time calculated into the prison sentence).
