The Criminal Court in Skopje has approved in full the bill of indictment against businessman Ljupco Palevski.
Palevski is charged with murder and two kidnappings, and is suspected to have murdered Vanja Gjorcevska (14) and Pance Zezovski (74) in November 2023. The Public Prosecutor’s Office (PPO) filed the indictment in May 2024 against Palevski and four other suspects, including Gjorcevska’s father, charging them with the same crimes.
Gjorcevska and Zezovski were reported as missing on 24 and 27 November 2023, and the police found their bodies near Skopje and Veles on 3 December.
When the other suspects revealed Palevski’s involvement in the case, he fled the country, but was later arrested in Turkiye, where he was kept in detention until being extradited to North Macedonia on 15 May 2024.
