The Interior Ministry has confirmed that the Veles man suspected of selling and administering alleged Cuban vaccines to cancer patients was previously reported for defrauding a company owner from Ohrid through his NGO, whose members are persons with physical disabilities.
By exceeding his official powers, on March 20, 2023, he acquired unlawful property gains of 600,000 denars to the detriment of M.G. from Ohrid, having previously misled him into applying to European funds for a grant and an Adrenaline Park project, claiming that the awarded funds would be transferred to M.G.’s company to build a park within his campsite in Ohrid, the Ministry explained.
The Ohrid Prosecutor’s Office is still investigating whether fraud took place and, if so, what kind, while the suspect moved on to his new business venture in the meantime.
