Decision on Initiative Related to Paid Political Advertising Not Reached

The Constitutional Court has not reached a decision regarding the case initiated by Levica and Democrats to evaluate the constitutionality of the parts of the Electoral Code related to paid political advertising. The final decision was expected to be made during the Court’s session on Thursday. However, that was not done because Judge Goce Naumovski did not appear at the session.

The vote during the previous session had also been postponed due to the absence of Judge Naumovski. Though he was expected to participate on Thursday, the Court was notified by Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi that Naumovski had submitted his resignation to him.
