Regarding the recent scabies case in relation to professional soldiers, the Defense Ministry has said that the disease, despite information being placed publicly, hasn’t come from Alekso Demnievski – Bauman Barracks.
At the same time, as it pointed out in Monday’s press release, it calls for an individual case concerning non contraction at the Barracks not to be misused to manipulate the public and thus cause direct harm to the Army’s reputation.
Later on Monday, Larisa Oranska of the Military-Medical Center said four people part of the course for professional soldiers at the Veles Barracks had scabies. Their general condition is good and they’re receiving in-home treatment. She added that the disease hadn’t come from the Army.
