Deputy PM Grkovska Understands Blueprint Group’s Decision

Even though Deputy PM for Good Governance Policies Slavica Grkovska regrets the Blueprint Group’s decision to leave the working groups for the new criminal code and confiscation of assets in civil proceedings law, she understands the decision.

As Grkovska, who chairs the working group concerning the aforementioned law, pointed out on Wednesday, she initiated the inclusion of civil society in the process once the group was formalised, while all analyses and documents were submitted to the sector.

The majority of suggestions and remarks from the Blueprint Group made before they left were integrated into the text. Regarding the Criminal Code changes, Grkovska stated that it was another process not related to the law she was in charge of.
