Detention Issued against 31-year-old in Child Pornography Material Case

Following the searches at various locations in several cities, the Prosecutor’s Office opened on Friday an investigation concerning the production and distribution of child pornography against a Bitola man employed by an elementary school. He was issued a detention measure.

According to the press-release, the 31-year-old suspect, from April 2024 to April 1, 2026, on computer devices and equipment he used at home, would get and possess child pornography material.

Thursday’s searches were conducted following a notification from the Australian Federal Police, which had discovered websites responsible for the distribution of images and videos containing child abuse materials.
