The Criminal Court has extended the detention measure against ex-Oncology Clinic Director Nino Vasev, who’s charged in the Oncology Clinic 1 and Oncology Clinic 2 cases, by another 30 days.
On Tuesday, his attorney, Bobi Spirkovski, stated that he would appeal the decision, describing as unjustified and adding the charge was based on “artificially constructed” acts. The defence has presented new evidence that shows there’s neither damage nor grounds for severe charges, while the Court of Appeals should decide, without pressures, exclusively according to the law and facts, he assessed.
