Regarding his party’s relations with VLEN following disagreements over the Balancer tool issue, ZNAM leader Maksim Dimitrievski said on Tuesday he believed it was wrong that VLEN was imitating DUI because Ali Ahmeti’s party was a thing of the past.
“We should be making new policies for economic growth and development of the country because citizens are no longer burdened over which one will wave which flag or who’s the bigger hostage with regards to fulfilment of some alleged national platforms and strategies. Simply put, citizens want to live in an orderly country in which corruption will be reduced, in which a system will be built, in which a functional state, a functional system in the function of citizens will be created,” he stated.
Regarding Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi’s use of an official vehicle to head to a wedding in Kosovo, Dimitrievski said he was waiting for an official answer from relevant institutions regarding the issue of regulating the regime of movement of such high officials.
“Once I hear that, I will voice my stand. If the vehicle was used for private needs and family celebrations, that’s inadmissible. On the other hand, if one holds such a high position and they are entitled to a security detail and everything is in line with protocols, there’s then no obstacles preventing that from being done. However, I leave it up to official relevant state institutions to voice a stand on the case, after which I will present my position,” the ZNAM leader underlined.
