Dimitrievski: Political Subjects Tend to Abuse Badinter Majority Principle

ZNAM leader and Kumanovo Mayor Maksim Dimitrievski, commenting on the statement of Justice Minister Igor Filkov about the possible reformation of the principles for Badinter majority, said that this regulation had been often abused in such way that it had brought the functionality of the state into question.

“What I believe Filkov tried to say is that the Badinter majority principle is often abused. For our party, the Ohrid Framework Agreement (OFA) is a done job, absolved and completely implemented and realised, but certain political subjects tend to abuse this political topic, and the Badinter majority principle with it”, Dimitrievski claimed.

DUI reacted to Dimirievski’s statements, saying that they are part of the plan of the parties in power for complete discreditation of OFA.

“Since the current alliance took power, they managed to abolish the Balancer tool, erased the diaspora and its voice from our society, made the agency for implementation of the Law on Use of Languages completely dysfunctional, and ultimately devalued the OFA by putting its implementation under the authority of Ivan Stoilkovic, a man with unconcealed anti-Albanian sentiments.

Now, through Dimitrievski, the majority lead by VMRO-DPMNE tackles the Badinter principle too, with the ultimate goal of taking the country to the dark past when Albanians were segregated, discriminated against and had no say whatsoever in the policies enacted in the country”, writes the reaction of DUI.
