Doctor and private resident Darko Vasilevski began a peaceful protest with a hunger strike on Thursday in front of the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Medicine in Skopje, after receiving no response from competent institutions to his questions and objections over the past period.
In a social media post, he thanked everyone for their support, emphasizing that the step was not directed against anyone personally and that he hadn’t made the decision lightly. On the other hand, the Faculty of Medicine issued a statement, saying the hiring procedure had been objective and transparent.
