DPM Stoilkovikj Attends Formal Academy Marking Republika Srpska Day

On 9 January, DPM Stoilkovikj said on social media he was honored that he’d again attended the formal academy marking the 34th anniversary of Republika Srpska Day in Banja Luka.

“We talked about who had attended Republika Srpska Day celebrations the most. Without meaning to brag, I’m convincingly in first place”, he pointed out in the social media post, adding that Serbian Culture Minister Selakovic was second.

Among those that took part in activities to mark January 9 (though Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Constitutional Court has declared the holiday unconstitutional and discriminatory) were former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, pardoned last year by Trump (and whose 14-year sentence for political corruption charges the U.S. President had commuted during his first term), members of the local branch of the Night Wolves, the Russian biker gang known for its open support for the Kremlin, and former Republika Srpska President Dodik, according to Racin.mk’s report.

SDSM fiercely criticized the DPM, but he refuted the accusations, saying he fought for Macedonian interests.
