DUI Calls State Lottery Case Against Grubi ‘Political Revenge’

The State Lottery trial against former DPM Grubi is a “game” and “political revenge”, DUI Secretary General Arber Ademi said. Answering a journalist’s question, he added that legally and formally, Grubi continued to be presumed innocent because there was still no final verdict against him.

According to Ademi, Grubi’s innocence was also confirmed by the current officials of the institutions referred to in the case. The DUI Secretary General also acknowledged that he continued to maintain contact with the former official. As reported by several media outlets in North Macedonia, Ademi was also asked about the possibility of Grubi returning to the public political scene and his future engagement within DUI.

“Every individual, based on their own free will, can decide whether to participate in public and political life or not”, he noted.
