EU integration by 2030, electing the President in Parliament, and a so-called framework economic agreement are among the priorities in the programme of DUI’s presidential candidate, Bujar Osmani.
He presented the programme on Sunday in front of the leaders of parties that are part of the DUI-led bloc. Osmani is adamant that his promises are attainable.
Regarding the constitutional changes issue, Osmani said that that would be a condition during the talks by DUI for a ruling coalition. However, he added that it would be a matter on which all parties from the DUI-led front would need to decide.
When it comes to the issue of electing the President in Parliament, Osmani’s stand is that it will depolarize the political scene. The previous day, Ziadin Sela, head of one of the two Alliance for Albanians wings, had officially joined the DUI-led coalition.
