“The exposing of the unlawful activities by VLEN’s leadership as part of so-called urban crime has just gone to confirm the warning that VMRO-DPMNE created and picked them precisely because they are blackmailable and controlled through open files within the Prosecutor’s Office, which is under the full control of the government”, DUI said on Wednesday.
According to Ali Ahmeti’s party, the “construction of over 150 illegal structures in Cair, without permits, without standards related to seismology and statics, and without any institutional supervision, represents not only urban crime and a serious threat to citizens, but also political pressure” on the heads of parties that are “pets” of PM Hristijan Mickoski, “who have now been turned into submissive tools of the anti-European and anti-Albanian agenda” of the cabinet.
However, VMRO-DPMNE said that Skopje Mayor Danela Arsovska had started to engage in theatrics in the capital because she hadn’t done anything during her term.
According to the ruling party, the “theatrics” has been instructed by her “coalition partners”, SDSM and DUI.
Nonetheless, SDSM said that the previous day’s session of the City of Skopje had confirmed that VMRO-DPMNE and VLEN were defending the “urban mafia’s crime” in Cair.
“Skopje is being held hostage by the “urban mafia” being protected by the Mickoski-led coalition”, it added.
