At 8:23 p.m. on Tuesday, the Embassy in Abu Dhabi said that, in coordination with UAE authorities, it was actively working to finalize details regarding the organization of charter flights for the evacuation of citizens of North Macedonia.
All citizens interested in evacuation and have not already done so were called on to that by calling the Embassy (+971 56 441 7532) or sending an email to abudabi@mfa.gov.mk.
Earlier that day, the Foreign Ministry had said it was planning to return citizens from Israel, via Egypt, by using commercial flights and, if needed, the Government’s plane. Regarding Qatar and the UAE, it said depending on conditions, the possibility of a commercial and charter flight was being considered.
