The employment of police officers covered by the investigation into the Kocani fire is on hold, Interior Minister Pance Toskovski said on Wednesday.
Asked about the demands from parents of those killed in the fire for the Ministry to be held to account, he stated that they had a legitimate right to demand institutional answers.
“What the Ministry was required to do as an institution has been done. Throughout the whole time, I believe, we’ve shown to the Macedonian public and Macedonian citizens that work could have been differently done, that there can be work unselectively”, Toskovski noted.
