During Thursday’s visit to Kochani, EU Ambassador Rokas met with the Municipality’s Council, whose President, Aleksandar Andov, said the meeting had been constructive.
Numerous ideas and proposals to develop Kochani in areas such as sports, culture, and the environment have stemmed from the meeting, he added.
Expressing big gratitude to the Ambassador for the honor and opportunity for open dialogue and cooperation, Andov said he hoped cooperation would continue in the interest of a better future for Kochani.
The Ambassador’s activities included a meeting with Mayor Grozdanov, too, while, together with his team, he visited the cemetery, where they laid flowers in memory of the 63 people killed in the March fire. There were also discussions behind closed doors with the association of parents of those killed in the tragedy, as well with the group of survivors.
