Regarding the abolition of the Balancer tool, the EU Delegation, on Thursday, underlined the importance of continued implementation of the Ohrid Framework Agreement, which, as it said, calls for full respect for the principle of non-discrimination and equal treatment, especially in the public administration sector.
As it added, it’s up to North Macedonia’s authorities to ensure respect for principles.
The Constitutional Court’s decision comes after the government announced its intentions to reform the system and replace the Balancer tool, the Delegation pointed out, adding that it expected to see proposals.
