President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, extended greetings to the citizens of North Macedonia on occasion the Day of Independence.
“I extend heartfelt congratulations to the citizens and authorities of North Macedonia while they celebrate the Day of Independence. The EU remains dedicated to our mutual future and your road towards European integration”, Kosta wrote on the social network X.
Enlargement Commissioner at the European Commission Marta Kos too congratulated the country and the citizens.
“I firmly support your road towards accession in EU. We stand by you, with every step you take”, Kos wrote on X.
