Former Foreign Minister and 2024 presidential candidate Bujar Osmani will be endorsed by the DUI-led European Front in the Cair mayoral race. The decision was announced following the 21st session of Ali Ahmeti’s party’s Central Presidency, held on Monday.
In Tetovo, Bajram Rexhepi will be endorsed. All parties part of the coalition will endorse a mayoral candidate, including the wings of Alliance for Albanians headed by Ziadin Sela and Arben Taravari.
Also on Monday, VLEN’s Izet Mexhiti, who currently serves as 1st Deputy PM, didn’t rule out the possibility of running in the Cair mayoral race.
