Commenting on the criminal charge filed against him in the building case, ex-Saraj Mayor Bexheti told Kanal 5 that state organs were being misused for purposes of political persecution.
He also stated that the current government was committed to portraying DUI officials as people that hadn’t worked according to the law, which was an anti-Albanian stand. Bexheti, now an MP, called on PM Mickoski and VLEN co-leader Mexhiti to, as he underlined, refrain from misuse of state organs.
According to him, there were such situations in the past, too, when cases were initiated but procedures weren’t launched because it’s “more than obvious there is work under a political dictate”.
