The wing of Alliance for Albanians headed by Arben Taravari has dismissed Deputy PM for Good Governance Arben Fetai as President of its Assembly.
He’s been succeeded by Nazim Taipi. 8 of 46 members that have been publicly voicing stands against the wing have been excluded as well, according to Taravari. Regarding Mimoza Musa, he stated that it wasn’t clearly defined whether she would serve as a VLEN MP or remained with Alliance for Albanians.
As far as the local elections are concerned, Taravari said Alliance for Albanians would cooperate with both VLEN and DUI in order to help ethnic Albanians. The wing’s head also stated that there was neither a post nor a name nor a position as valuable as an honest structure that appeared before citizens with a clean face.
However, on Sunday, around 50 officials supporting Fetai said their message to Taravari was that they would continue to be part of the cabinet to work on the reforms, adding that they didn’t intend to enter coalitions with “forces of the past”.
