Filipche: Mickoski Blocks EU Path and Reforms

SDSM leader Venko Filipche said today from Ohrid that PM Hristijan Mickoski must explain why he failed to deliver on the reform agenda, accusing him of halting the country’s European future.

“They had the chance, 12 laws were planned for 2025, but only one was passed, partially and without EU recommendations. This shows they only pretend to reform, especially in the judiciary where citizens expect real change.

The VMRO‑DPMNE government has taken no steps toward opening EU negotiations or constitutional changes. Macedonia was not mentioned in the latest EU report under the Cypriot presidency, while European funds are being cut due to government failures. No party should support this government. With the tender coalition of VMRO‑DPMNE and ZNAM, Macedonia has no future”, Filipche stated.
