First Group of Citizens Leaves Tel Aviv

On Tuesday morning, the first group of citizens of North Macedonia in Israel, including four children, left Tel Aviv as part of the evacuation process.

In its report on Tuesday afternoon, 24 TV said that they were expected to arrive in Skopje in the evening.

“The first group of Macedonian citizens, as part of a major convoy, left Tel Aviv this morning and headed towards the border with Egypt. From there, they were taken over in a vehicle and transported to Sharm El-Sheikh, from where, by using the Government’s plane, they will be transported to our country’s territory”, the Foreign Ministry was quoted as saying in the same report.

North Macedonia’s diplomatic personnel will stay in Israel.

“We can only confirm we are all right. Like other diplomats, we are staying in Tel Aviv”, the Embassy said.
