Flag Case: Spasovski Says Person’s Identity to Be Known in Several Days

Commenting on the case concerning the waving of the Greater Albania flag in Tetovo during Kosovan PM Albin Kurti’s visit to Tetovo, Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski stated that several persons had been located.

As he added, the identity of the person waving the flag will be known in several days. Spasovski didn’t say whether the person was a citizen of Macedonia or a person from Kosovo.

The same day, asked whether there would be greater controls of police officers who used weapons for private purposes, as in the case with the head of the Ropotovo police station, Spasovski stated that not only would there be controls, but also everyone breaking the law would be held criminally accountable.
