“When we talk about the bilateral aspect between Sofia and Skopje, what I always say is that the joint interest of both countries is us moving forward on the path toward full membership in the EU”, Foreign Minister Mucunski said in Sofia, where he participated in the SEECP Summit.
According to him, both countries have a lot to gain from the process. Regarding the 2022 French proposal, Mucunski stressed that his country held a different viewpoint.
“We need to function in a system built on mutual trust. Our view is that we have a different interpretation of what is expected of our country regarding the 2022 decision”, he underlined.
