For Kanal 5 on Tuesday, during his visit to The Hague, Foreign Minister Timco Mucunski fiercely criticized Bulgaria and its MEPs regarding his country’s EU path.
“I regret that the current Bulgarian government and also the Bulgarian MEPs, with their actions, what we’re seeing in Brussels, are entering in the Russian narrative to destabilise the region. Stability of the Western Balkans will most easily be secured through a certain European integration of the entire region”, he pointed out.
According to him, Bulgaria’s actions in the past weeks and months are part of a worrying trend that may harm regional peace.
Also, the Minister stated that there would be no meeting between President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova and Bulgarian PM Rosen Zhelyazkov in The Hague considering Sofia ran away from talks with Skopje.
