In the frames of his visit to Brussels, Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani met with Josep Borrell, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the Commission.
The meeting focused on developments related to Skopje’s EU file, accession process, and internal-political dynamism.
“There’s no alternative to full- fledged EU membership of the Western Balkans. What we need now is for the region to be ready for membership and the EU for enlargement, that is, for us to keep the credibility of the process through greater integration before membership,” Osmani said.
Among the other topics they discussed were the Russian aggression in Ukraine and the Middle East situation.
