Former DPM Grubi’s House Arrest Extended

U.S.–blacklisted former DPM Grubi’s house arrest has been extended in the investigation into the Lottery case. The Criminal Court has confirmed that was done before Friday, upon the request of the Prosecutor’s Office.

Grubi still hasn’t given a statement before a prosecutor, while the defense has almost finished reviewing the case documentation, his attorney, Goce Ristevski, has told Telma.

Regarding the security threats due to which Grubi has been under house arrest, there are notes from the National Security Agency and Interior Ministry indicating police knowledge of threats, but also intelligence information about the hiring of contract killers from a neighboring country to which Grubi then departed from North Macedonia.
