In the Gjorche Petrov peer violence case, police have filed charges also against the parents of the four juveniles suspected of the acts against the 13-year-old girl. The six parents have been charged with neglecting and maltreating a child.
The 13-year-old has been attending classes from home for some time now, while 10 students who participated in the acts were issued disciplinary measures on April 15.
The Ministry of Education has reiterated that it has sent a letter to all municipalities and schools to introduce an on-duty teacher as a preventive measure.
