The Gostivar Basic Court has extended the detention of the former director of the local public utility enterprise (Komunalec), Artana Asani, and two other managers at the enterprise who are suspected in the Gostivar water case.
On the other hand, Fatmir Alili, the attorney representing Asani and one of the other suspects, Leon Nuredini, said he would file an appeal. The investigation is ongoing, while the Prosecutor’s Office continues to collect and analyze evidence.
At Wednesday’s press conference, Health Minister Klekovski delivered to journalists results from the Tetovo Public Health Center, conducted in the days before the water received the green light for drinking, and additionally sent the analyses for the entire year via email.
