On Wednesday, PM Hristijan Mickoski, Justice Minister Igor Filkov and part of ministers participated in the first in the series of meetings with the civil sector, headlined “Dialogue between the Government and the Civil Sector”, on the rule of law, good governance, and fighting corruption, organised by IRI.
“The fight against crime and corruption must be resolute. If we don’t win that fight, we cannot have a developed standard, better conditions, and a better standard of citizens,” Mickoski said.
The PM also stated that Government and NGO members had had a chance to discuss the high level of corruption and crime, as well as the fight against those problems, “a topic that represents an acute problem of the country”.
According to the PM, good governance, too, was discussed since it is an imperative for the new cabinet.
