Government Decides to Extend State of Crisis for Another Two Weeks

The Government has decided to extend the state of crisis for another two weeks, PM Mickoski said on Wednesday. There will be a new session to decide whether to keep the VAT on fuels at 10%, he added.

Oil prices on the stock markets will be monitored, which will be used as a basis to determine the amount of the excise duty reduction, the PM assessed.

Mickoski also said state oil reserves were full, while the discount provided by OKTA would continue in the period ahead. He expects fuel prices to remain stable or decrease by a certain percentage in the period ahead. State oil reserves have not been used since the beginning of the crisis, while supply is stable, Mickoski noted as well.
