On Tuesday, the Government said it had passed the Equitable Representation Bill. The Government pointed out the text hadn’t been passed hastily, adding that Venice Commission recommendations had been taken into consideration.
A coordination body will be formed that will monitor the implementation. In the six-month period after its passage by Parliament, other laws will have to be aligned as well.
