Government Sends to Parliament Changes to Restrictive Measures Law

At its session on Tuesday, the Government confirmed and sent to Parliament the changes to the Restrictive Measures Law, which expand the Law’s purposes.

In the text, “fight against corruption, abuse of official duty, and hybrid threats against the country” is added, the grounds are expanded by introducing the legal acts of the US and the UK, and the instruments are expanded with two temporary measures – ban on candidacy and holding public office and participation in public procurement for legal entities. The Draft- Law is under the competence of the Foreign Ministry.
