On Wednesday, the EC made available 65.7 million euros to North Macedonia, 49 million euros to Albania, and 44.2 million euros to Montenegro under the Reform and Growth Facility.
“This follows the third request for payment and the Commission’s positive assessment of reform steps implemented in the areas of business competitiveness and innovation in Albania and Montenegro, and education and digitalization in North Macedonia”, it said.
Foreign Minister Mucunski said the release of funds was a clear confirmation of the Government’s strong commitment to reforms, fulfilling the obligations from the Growth Plan, and implementing European values and standards at the domestic level.
