Tuesday’s hearing in the State Lottery trial was postponed because a prosecution witness failed to attend. The person in question is Nadije Hoxha, an employee of the State Lottery, who had notified the prosecutors on Monday she would be going on an official business trip on Tuesday (October 20).
The prosecution is investigating whether there was any undue influence exerted on witness Vlado Petkovski because, according to prosecutors, he changed his testimony before the Court.
In the trial, former DPM Grubi, former State Lottery Director Perparim Bajrami and six other individuals are accused of embezzling 9.7 million euros.
