The Holocaust Fund of Macedonian Jews and Jewish Community in Macedonia have fiercely reacted to the comments on the Holocaust made by Bulgaria’s Ivan Dinev Ivanov, Professor at the University of Cincinnati, on the episode of Kanal 5 CEO Ivan Mircevski’s podcast.
As they pointed out on Tuesday, his attempts to distort the historical truth and role of the Kingdom of Bulgaria in the Holocaust of Macedonian Jews are scandalous, especially since they’ve been made by a professor that should convey to his students the truth about events of history instead of putting himself on the side of the official distortion of the historical truth about the holocaust by certain Bulgarian politicians and historians that have taken place in continuity.
