The Interior Ministry has a new lead and suspects with regards to hybrid threats against the country, Interior Minister Pance Toskovski stated on Tuesday. Without revealing details, he pointed out that police were acting upon the hybrid threats, with the intensification of the fires, coming from different centres.
According to Toskovski, it’s a fact that there’s been a hybrid attack in the country in the last several months. Regarding the local elections, he believes there will be a democratic process. As he explained, services have been actively working.
“All those activities to prepare the election process are being taken”, Toskovski noted.
The Minister made those comments after his participation in a conference on systemic corruption as a security threat, at which he had pointed out that there would be an opportunity as a result of the new Internal Affairs Law for a memorandum of cooperation to be signed with the Faculty of Security in order for the best students who completed studies there to become part of security institutions.
