To mark the first anniversary of the Kochani fire, an international conference will be held in Skopje on Saturday. Medical experts from 37 countries, including from those where there was treatment of patients, Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece, Croatia, Austria, Sweden, and Poland, will participate.
Government Spokesperson Marija Miteva said on Wednesday the institutional response and the long-term rehabilitation of the victims would be analyzed. The state remains consistent in its promise that support for the victims and their families will not be one-off, but rather systemic, she added.
