At the Italy-North Macedonia business forum in Skopje on Wednesday, the Undersecretary of State to the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Maria Tripodi, expressed her country’s support for integration of Skopje into the EU as soon as possible.
“We invest resources and political resources in supporting countries from the entire region to get closer to the EU. The Republic of North Macedonia is no exception. We want to accompany it at every stage of this European path of its”, she noted.
After her meeting with Foreign Minister Timco Mucunski, they stated that at a time when there were great challenges in the world, Europe had to count on itself, while only a united Europe will be good for the entire region and continent.
