The Criminal Court has accepted the Prosecutor’s Office’s proposal to extend, by another 48 hours, the measure of short-term detention for Stojanche Jovanovski, the suspect in the death of his wife, Ivana, and their daughter, Katja.
The Office said on Thursday there was action on orders for expertise of three cellphones and other items, in addition to work to analyze video materials from multiple critical locations and secure all documentation on previous complaints and reports on domestic violence.
When it comes to the Interior Ministry, its Internal Control Department is still taking action regarding the action of police, who, several hours before the death, had received a report about an argument between Ivana and Stojanche. Though officers went to the scene, they left after Ivana had said there was a misunderstanding.
