Former State Commission for Prevention of Corruption (SCPC) President Biljana Ivanovska, who is endorsed in the Centar mayoral race by Nezavisni Zaedno (Independents Together), will on Tuesday (19 August) head to the Prosecutor’s Office for questioning regarding the criminal charge.
That means she’s rejected the institution’s offer for the questioning to be held after the elections in order for her not to see the process as political pressure on her.
Ivanovska has said that she doesn’t know what the charge is about and who filed it. The Office, last week, said it was about a private charge that had been filed on 18 February 2025.
